Our dogs are extremely responsive and can be taught a variety of behaviors that make them more adaptable to your individual lifestyle and specific needs. This customization of your dog’s obedience and manners training is available either before delivery or by our trainers at your home.
Before delivery, this may involve such things as preparing your dog to obey and be extremely gentle with young children or the elderly, to ride in the back of a Sport Utility Vehicle without the need of a restraining divider, to wait automatically at the edge of a sidewalk until given a command before stepping into the street or to lie under a desk when brought into an office.
More subtle changes specific to your home can be accomplished when the dog is delivered personally by one of our trainers. These may include training the dog not to enter certain rooms, to accept other family pets and to use only a certain section of the yard for bathroom purposes.
Customized protection training is also available. This may include training the dog to show aggression only if someone tries to enter your car rather than when people are walking by or putting fuel in it. The dog can be taught to respond to a command to show aggression automatically if someone approaches a vehicle, or allowing the owner to direct the dog to attack one specific threat in a situation involving more than one person.
