Axel is a large solid black male with an extremely easy going personality. He is very easy to live with and low maintenance. His sweet, loving and gentle personality makes you fall in love instantly. His sweetness is not over-bearing whatsoever. He is a follower and loves to be with you when you move throughout the house, inside to outside, or out in public.
In protection he is over the top. Powerful, strong, confident and fearless. Axel’s bark is deep and consistent, his speed and ability to use his weight is something that you normally have to teach dogs of his size, but as we started teaching him, we found it was his natural way of biting.
It is a real pleasure to train and be around a dog of his caliber. His calmness in everyday life and ability to apprehend a threat when told in the same breath is extremely impressive. Axel was purchased along with Yang and the two boys will be living in harmony here in Dallas Texas.
